Ludlow Spring Festival, in collaboration with SIBA, offers a unique opportunity to raise a glass to the dedication and talent that define independent brewing.

Established in 1980, the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), the champion of British independent brewing, is the voice of over 750 independent breweries across the UK. They tirelessly represent these passionate brewers, lobbying the government and promoting their craft in the press.

Welcome to Indie Beer

Independent beer is handmade by real people who truly care about the quality and flavour of the beer they are producing.

Choose independent beer for a great tasting pint and much more choice of styles and flavours than you get with global mass-produced beers. Importantly, you’ll be supporting local business, protecting local pubs, and making a more sustainable choice too.

Support independent breweries by buying beers that carry the INDIE BEER mark on their pump clips, labels, or bottle caps and look for INDIE BEER posters and window stickers in pubs and brewery taprooms that are proud to serve it.

The campaign was launched by the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates with the support of other beer organisations including the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the British Institute of Innkeeping (Bii), and Independent Family Brewers of Britain (IFBB). It has also gained the support of beer media outlets such as Pellicle Magazine.
